Mrs.  Hudson has been a member of Southern Missionary Baptist Church since 1966.  She joined Southern under the leadership of Reverend Louis  C. Walker.

She has joined many ministries and has held many positions since becoming a member. 

Mrs. Hudson connected with many christians working as a Computer Operator at the Onondaga County Sheriffs Department  for many years. 

Her first assignment within the church was working with the Senior Usher Ministry under the leadership of Brother Johnny Denham (President). Mrs Hudson still ushers today with a smile and warm greeting to all.  

Mrs Hudson has also held the following postions while attending SMBC over the years:

 * Recording secretary

 * Vice President  of The Service Ministry

 * President of the Senior Ushers.   Nineteen years 

   (1998 thru 2017) of faithful dedicated service.

 * Joyful noise with the Southernettes

 * Joyful noise with the Sanctuary Choir

 * Director of Christian Education

 * Sunday School Teacher

 * New Member Class Teacher

 * Dean of Christian Education at Southern
  Missionary Baptist Chruch and The National
  Baptist Convention, Inc.

Mrs. Hudson received her (Dean) Diploma from National Baptist Convention, USA Inc

 Mary Hudson has also received SMBC Christian Leadership  School (SSPB) (COPP).  Certificate of progress Education Programs.

Setup School at SMBC through National Baptist Congress USA INC.

Graduated 25 students from the COPP program, 4 of the students have their diploma from the Southern Missionary  Baptist Church Christian  Education Ministry.
